Swan Tours was first pioneered by Swan Hellenic back in the ’50s, when a British travel agent, Swan’s Tours, organized a groundbreaking trip for the members of the Hellenic Society. The tour visited the famous sites of ancient Greece in the company of celebrated scholars. It was so successful, more cruises were developed with writers, academics and clergymen invited to feature as guest lecturers. Swan Hellenic stood out from other commercial cruises by making a point never to repeat the same itineraries twice. We also visited unusual destinations, giving guests the chance to explore places most travelers had never even heard of.
